The Hearing Group

The Hearing Group is an audiology practice in West Orange that has been helping patients with hearing loss since it was co-founded in 2004 by audiologists Robbi Hershon and Debra Knapp. Both are licensed audiologists and New Jersey hearing aid dispensers, and the practice offers hearing exams, hearing aids from several manufacturers, and the Lace AI Pro auditory training program for hearing loss and tinnitus. Patients of all ages are seen, including children and older adults.

A visit starts with a case history and an ear exam for earwax or infection, followed by diagnostic hearing tests. Results are explained and patients can try demo hearing aids before deciding anything. The team also repairs hearing aids. Current patients are asked to call to book their next appointment. The office is in West Orange, Essex County, and it hosts an aural rehabilitation class on the second Thursday of each month.
