Supporter of the historic Virginia Robinson Gardens in Beverly Hills1008 Elden Way, Beverly Hills, CA

Friends of Robinson Gardens is a nonprofit that raises funds to preserve and restore The Virginia Robinson Gardens, the 1911 estate of retail family Virginia and Harry Robinson, widely regarded as the first luxury estate built in Beverly Hills. The estate is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The group has restored the historic buildings on the property, contributes about a quarter of the garden's annual operating budget, and runs classes and a children's science program alongside the estate's county-run operations.
Visits are by reservation only, with docent-led historical, garden and behind-the-scenes tours available on registration. Tour reservations are taken Tuesday through Saturday. The Friends also host private events and photo shoots on the grounds, and volunteers can train to become docents. The estate sits behind the Beverly Hills Hotel.
