Walts Tree Service

Walts Tree Service handles tree health care across the life of a tree, from planting through maturity. Its main work includes plant health treatments such as Emerald Ash Borer injections and iron treatments for maples, fruit and flowering tree pruning, stump removal, girdle root repair, and bare root planting in spring. Canopy lifts are offered, but large tree removal and aerial climbing work are no longer provided.

The business has been operating since 1981, when founder Walt started it, and is now run by his daughter Sherrie Moore, an ISA certified arborist. Service covers the Fargo/Moorhead area and anywhere within a 100-mile radius. Free tree health assessments are offered, and the assessment is free when additional work is booked. The office address is on 7th Street West in West Fargo.
