The story

Mamma's Pizza is a family restaurant known for New York style and Sicilian pizzas, stromboli, hot and cold subs, and homemade pasta. Specialties include tricolor and stuffed pizzas, a steak sub made with chopped ribeye, and chicken and veal platters, along with wings, salads and seafood dishes such as shrimp fra diavolo and linguine with clams.

Salvatore and Caterina opened the restaurant in 1986 after working as laborers in New York and in bakeries in Italy. Their four daughters and their husbands took over about a decade ago and renovated the place into a bigger restaurant with a banquet room. Catering is offered, and gluten-free penne and a gluten-free pizza are on the menu.
