Waymar General Contracting

Waymar General Contracting is a home remodeling and roofing contractor that has worked across the Southern Tier for more than 24 years. Roofing is the work it is best known for, and its crews also handle siding, gutters, windows, doors, flooring, decks, kitchen and bath remodels, drywall, and interior and exterior painting. Owner Wayne Atkins started the company in 1995 after years working for other roofing firms, and he won a first-place finish in a regional hand-nailing roofing contest.

Free estimates are offered on remodeling and repair projects, and the company carries $1 million in liability insurance along with workers' compensation, disability, and unemployment coverage for its employees. Crews are licensed, insured, and bonded, and staff hold lead-safe and OSHA construction training. Start with a phone call, since the office is open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The business serves Wellsville, Hornell, Olean, and the surrounding Southern Tier, and its mailing address is in Southern Tier, NY.
