Aegis Aerospace

Aegis Aerospace is a commercial space and lunar exploration company that also works as a defense and NASA contractor. Its commercial space work centers on space testing as a service, letting customers fly experiments and technologies in the external space environment, and on developing payloads and small satellites for the International Space Station, Earth orbit, and the lunar surface. The company also builds lunar surface testing platforms and offers systems engineering, flight and ground system operations, modeling and simulation, and cyber and IT solutions for government clients.

The company is headquartered in Webster, Texas, and serves NASA, the Department of Defense, and the Space Force, along with commercial customers. Its work is mostly contract-based, so most business is handled by phone or email through its general and commercial space inquiry forms. Aegis Aerospace is woman-owned and has been operating since 1992.
