Queens South Bar and Grill

Queens South is a family-friendly sports bar and grill run by Chuck and Donna, who moved to Waxhaw from Queens, New York. The menu mixes New York style thin crust pizza, calzones and Italian specialties from Queens with Southern dishes like pimento cheese loaded fries, fried pickles and a jumbo wing menu with more than a dozen sauces and rubs. Burgers, hot dogs and hot wings are popular for game days.

The kitchen serves brunch on Sundays from 11 to 3, and the bar has a full draft and bottle list plus rotating taps. Parties and families are welcome, and the Saturday and Tuesday specials run for dine-in guests. The restaurant is at 1201 N Broome Street in Waxhaw.
