1290 N. Shoop Ave. 15

Baldy's Furniture & Mattress sells home furnishings and mattresses, with brands such as La-Z-Boy, Hughes Furniture, Liberty Furniture, James Allen Amish Furniture, White Dove Mattresses and Rize Home adjustable beds. The store focuses on sofas, dining tables and mattresses for living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms.

The business was started by four friends who saw a need for a furniture store in Wauseon and Fulton County. Sales associates do not work on commission, so there is no pressure to buy before you are ready. Financing is available through Synchrony. The store is in the Wauseon Plaza on North Shoop Avenue, and it is open weekday and Saturday daytime hours, with appointments available outside those times.
