Good Deals Fueling Good Deeds

St. Vincent de Paul Society of Waukesha County runs thrift stores that sell donated goods, with proceeds going to neighbors in need. Its Care Card voucher program lets struggling families get clothes, appliances, beds and other essentials through the stores. The society's conferences also make home visits and offer financial training aimed at helping people become more financially stable.

Donations can be dropped off at the donation center during posted hours, and furniture can be picked up from your home. Stores are in Waukesha, Oconomowoc and Pewaukee. The society also runs a jail ministry that serves men and women at the Waukesha County Jail and Huber facility, and it welcomes new volunteers to help across the county.
