Ernst Funeral Home

Ernst Funeral & Cremation Services handles funerals, cremations, celebrations of life, pre-planning, receptions, and monuments and markers. The family-run firm is known for hands-on service, with brothers Michael and Matthew Ernst involved in day-to-day decisions and arrangements, so families generally work with the same people from start to finish.

The funeral home serves Waukee, Dallas County, and the wider Des Moines metro area. Families can call for an appointment or stop by the office, and arrangement conferences can be set as early as the day of a death. Financing is available, and the staff offers no-cost, no-obligation consultations on pre-planning or at-need arrangements, including evenings and weekends.
