MG Homes

MG Homes is a custom home builder in Southern Utah that builds luxury custom homes and remodels, and it also takes on land development work. The company's owners, Carl Ford and Mike Gubler, are both master finish carpenters, and the company says it selects its own subcontractors, suppliers and artisans for each job. Its 2026 St. George Parade of Homes entry, Zion's Horizon Retreat, is a 3,810 square foot home with three bedrooms, four bathrooms and a boat garage.

The company says it keeps an open-book approach to budgets and schedules, with regular communication through the build. Projects are set up through a consultation, which can be booked online or by phone with Carl for sales or Mike for construction. The business is also expanding into commercial work under the MG Builders Group name. Its builds are concentrated around Sand Hollow and St. George.
