National Association of Letter Carriers

The National Association of Letter Carriers is the labor union representing city letter carriers of the United States Postal Service. Its work centers on the national agreement with the Postal Service, including contract administration, grievances, workplace safety, retirement planning and help for carriers injured on the job. The union publishes The Postal Record and the NALC Bulletin for members.

Members can find information on the NALC Health Benefit Plan, life insurance, FMLA leave and the Letter Carrier Political Fund, along with mobile apps for active and retired carriers. The union runs the Stamp Out Hunger food drive and supports the MDA Deliver the Cure campaign, and its Disaster Relief Foundation provides grants after disasters. The headquarters is in Washington, DC, and the site is aimed mainly at carriers and retirees rather than the general public.
