L'AVANT-GARDE

L'Avant-Garde is a chef-driven French restaurant in a historic Georgetown row house. Partner Chef and Maître Artisan Sébastien Giannini, a French Riviera native, leads the kitchen with a seasonal four-course prix-fixe menu and an à la carte menu that changes monthly. The cocktail list bridges the flavors of the food menu, and the wine list leans toward French bottles meant to complement the food.

Reservations are booked through Resy, and gift cards are sold online. Dinner is served Tuesday through Sunday evenings, with later hours on Friday and Saturday, and the restaurant is closed Monday. The dining room has ornate wood-burning fireplaces, hardwood floors and dim lighting, and the restaurant is gluten-free friendly, with gluten-free bread available on request.
