Edlavitch Jewish Community Center of Washington, DC

The Edlavitch DC Jewish Community Center, known locally as the EDCJCC, is a community center serving Jewish and wider Washington families, adults and young people. Its programs span fitness and aquatics, preschool and after-school care, arts and performance, social responsibility volunteering, and Shabbat and holiday celebrations. Theater J, a professional theater focused on the Jewish experience, and the Capital J program for talks and concerts are both part of the center.

The building sits at 16th and Q Streets NW in Washington. Members use the fitness center, pool and group exercise classes, and the center also rents space for parties, meetings and overnight stays. Preschool tours are offered for families considering the early childhood program.
