Pelican Replacement Windows

Pelican Replacement Windows sells and installs replacement windows, entry doors and patio doors for homes and light commercial properties. The company started in 1982 as Pelican Glass in Carlsbad, focusing on glass replacement, and shifted to window and door sales and installation in 2002. Its product lines include vinyl, fiberglass and sound-reducing windows, fiberglass front doors, and sliding and French-style patio doors from brands such as Milgard, Simonton, Win-Dor and Therma-Tru.

The company offers free in-home estimates and uses its own employees for installation rather than subcontractors. Customers can call or visit the showroom in Vista to see products in person and meet staff, and consultations are described as no-pressure. The company is licensed as a contractor and has been a finalist for the Better Business Bureau's Torch Award.
