Oaxacan cooking with a serious breakfast menu1350 E Vista Way Unit 8, Vista, CA

Cocina Del Carmen serves Oaxacan cooking, built around dishes from Oaxaca such as tlayudas, mole sauces and homemade salsas. The breakfast menu is a standout, with burritos, chilaquiles, enfrijoladas, huevos rancheros and weekend menudo, and breakfast is served all day. The kitchen says it uses fresh ingredients and nothing from a can or frozen.
The restaurant grew out of catering, and the owner's catering for weddings, quinceañeras and corporate events is still offered. Gift cards are sold on the website, and the restaurant is also available through Toast, Uber Eats, Grubhub and DoorDash. The Vista location is at 1350 E Vista Way, right off East Vista Way, and is closed on Mondays.
