Wolf Trap Nursery

Wolf Trap Nursery is a family-owned garden center that has served Northern Virginia since 1972. It sells house plants, annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, seeds, bulbs and Christmas trees, and it is best known for its large bonsai collection, including bonsai plants, soil, pots and supplies. The nursery is also known for its roses, with over 200 varieties in season.

The nursery runs hands-on, build-your-own bonsai workshops for beginners, where participants learn to select, pot, train and maintain a tree and keep it at the end of class. Wolf Trap also carries soil, mulch, fertilizer, pots, planters and concrete garden sculptures and fountains, along with pesticides and repellants. It is a pet-friendly nursery that welcomes well-trained, non-aggressive pets. Staff will help load purchases into your car. The nursery is on Leesburg Pike (Route 7) about 3.5 miles west of Tysons Corner, near Vienna, McLean and Reston.
