Montclair Shoe Repair

Montclair Shoe Repair restores leather goods, including handbags, wallets, shoes, belts and luggage. Spring handles soles and heels, offering protective soles such as Vibram rubber and patent soles for Louboutins, and will look at a favorite pair to see whether it can be fixed. Gina takes on detailed work like straps, zippers, shine and color, along with creative fixes such as adjusting boot widths or reinforcing worn bag corners.

This is a family business in Upper Montclair, run by a husband and wife who immigrated from South Korea. Customers can request a quote through the website, and the shop is open Tuesday through Saturday. The owners say their English is still improving and that they are working to make communication clearer.
