Fujiya Ramen

Fujiya Ramen is a family-run Japanese ramen restaurant started by father and son Minoru and Zen Yoshida, who say the recipes come from Minoru's more than 40 years of making ramen in Tokyo and nearby prefectures. The menu centers on pork-broth ramen such as tonkotsu, shoyu, miso and a spicy miso version, along with a Kaisen ramen with shrimp and squid, a vegetarian ramen and a clear chicken soup ramen. Rice bowls like katsu don and Japanese curry, plus appetizers such as takoyaki, gyoza and karaage, round out the menu.

Fujiya Ramen offers takeout and delivery through Uber Eats, and the restaurant also has dine-in seating. Dinner hours run most evenings from 4 PM to about 9 PM, with a lunch window on weekdays and weekends. The restaurant is at 413 Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair, New Jersey.
