Counseling Center for Addictions

The Counseling Center for Addictions provides counseling for anyone affected by substance abuse, and it treats the whole family along with the person who is addicted, since the center sees addiction as a family disease. Services include screening, intake, assessment, treatment planning, individual, group and family counseling, case management, crisis intervention, relapse prevention and addiction education. The counselors also work with co-occurring mental health issues, domestic violence and anger management.

The practice works with probation referrals, schools, employee assistance programs, drug-free workplaces, intensive outpatient programs and patients on Suboxone. Individual and family clients can also get psychological and pre-trial evaluations. The office is at 25 Pompton Avenue in Verona, New Jersey, and the principal counselor is Vincent G. DeNotaris.
