Hope Veterinary Oncology

Hope Veterinary Oncology treats dogs and cats with cancer and nothing else. The practice works as a medical oncology service, starting with diagnostics such as x-ray, ultrasound, CT and molecular testing, then building treatment plans that may include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, pain management and integrative options like diet, supplements and acupuncture. Dr. Lori Cesario, a board-certified veterinary oncologist, leads the practice.

Consultations are booked by request, and the goal of the first visit is to explain the cancer and whether the pet is in pain. Owners can reach the oncologist on weekends. Appointments run Monday through Thursday, and the clinic has separate dog and cat spaces in a relaxed setting with a Fear Free certified team. Surgery and radiation are referred to local specialists. The practice is located in Ventura.
