Bulk compost, soil and mulch from yard waste39 Old Elam Avenue, Valley Park, MO

St. Louis Composting turns yard waste such as branches, leaves and grass clippings into compost through a six-month static process. Its line includes compost, mulch, topsoil, custom soil blends and bagged products, all STA-certified, with OMRI-listed options for organic gardening and farming. Founded in 1992 by Patrick Geraty, the company runs nine facilities around the St. Louis area and also handles food waste depackaging for grocers and food manufacturers.
Bulk orders can be placed online for delivery to a home or job site. Anyone with a truck or trailer can instead pick up an order at one of the nine locations and load it on site, which avoids delivery fees. Tree, lawn and landscape waste is accepted for drop-off, and the company offers organic waste pick-up as well. The headquarters and original composting site are in Valley Park, Missouri, on Old Elam Avenue.
