Valley Center Stampede

Valley Center Stampede is the nonprofit organization behind the Valley Center Stampede Rodeo & Memorial Festival, a PRCA rodeo held each year over Memorial Day weekend at Star Valley Park. The event features rodeo competition, live entertainment, local vendors and Western traditions, and the organization says it draws more than 10,000 attendees each year. Proceeds support the community: the group says it donates over $27,000 a year in educational sponsorships for local youth and in military donations.

The festival is open to the public and is typically held at the park's main entrance at 29902 Valley Center Road in Valley Center, with a separate contestant entrance on Vesper Road. Volunteers, vendors, scholarship applicants and sponsors can get involved through the organization's website, and ticket sales are listed as coming soon for the 2027 event.
