Payrite

Payrite is a full-service payroll company that handles payroll processing, tax filing, time and attendance, and HR paperwork for employers. Clients send in their hours and the Payrite team enters the payroll, adds employees and manages updates, so the business does not have to work through a software portal itself. The company also covers garnishments, child support withholding, contractor payments and year-end 1099 filings, and can take over payroll from another provider.

Payrite is family-owned and has been in business since 1984. Clients are assigned one main point of contact who knows their business and employees. The office is in Shelby Township, and the phone line is open weekdays with Thursday hours ending at 1 PM and Friday visits by appointment. Payrite says it processes payroll in all 50 states, though state-specific forms are handled by the client's representative.
