Courtesy Driving School

Courtesy Driving School is a Michigan Secretary of State-approved driver education provider that has been training drivers since 1970. Its best-known work is teen driver education: the required Segment 1 and Segment 2 classes, road test certification, and driving lessons for permitted teens and adults. The school also offers Road Test Prep lessons, a basic driver improvement course, and instructor training for people who want to become certified driving instructors in Michigan.

The school is family-owned and operated and uses midsize, four-door American-made training cars with an instructor brake pedal. Road tests are offered at several locations across the state and can be booked online or through a student portal. Its office is on Mound Road in Shelby Township, and its phone line is staffed Monday through Friday during office hours.
