Dougherty Contractors, LLC

Dougherty Contractors is a family-run fence and landscape contractor that began as Dougherty Landscape in 1980. Its work includes custom fence installation, commercial landscape maintenance, plant screens, drainage systems, grading and excavation, hardscaping such as patios, walkways and retaining walls, and demolition, including removal of old in-ground pools. The company also plows and salts commercial parking lots and sidewalks, with about 25 years of snow plowing experience.

Owner Brian Dougherty handles estimates personally, and his wife Bridget runs the office and answers calls and email. Crews are licensed and insured, and the company offers a workmanship guarantee. Office hours are weekdays, with Saturdays by appointment. Veterans, active-duty military, first responders and seniors get a discount when they call to ask. Based in Havertown, the company is reached at PO Box 714 in Drexel Hill.
