29 Palms Creative Center

29 Palms Creative Center is an art studio and gallery that teaches classes in clay, glass, wood, wax and other crafts for ages from young children to adults. Its offerings include kids' classes, adult classes such as pottery wheel, encaustics and wood burning, art parties with pottery painting or neon canvas painting, a Clay Club for adults, and a homeschool program. The studio was founded in 2003 by Gretchen Grunt, who also made a commitment that no student would be turned away due to financial difficulty.

Classes can be booked through the website, and gift cards for classes are available. The studio sells art and accepts donations that fund its Kids Art Grant Program scholarships. It is located at 6847 Adobe Road in Twentynine Palms, and some classes were postponed until fall.
