Gen Korean BBQ

Gen Korean BBQ serves Korean barbecue on built-in tabletop grills, so guests cook their own marinated beef, pork, chicken and seafood at the table. Meals come with banchan side dishes, and the menu mixes traditional Korean dishes with Korean-American favorites, including ramen, japchae noodles, fried rice and soondooboo soup. The brand started in Los Angeles in 2011.

The Tucson location on East Broadway works as all-you-can-eat, with unlimited rounds ordered in batches over a two-hour limit. Leftovers carry a fee, and carry-out boxes are not permitted, so ordering in smaller amounts makes sense. Everyone at a table has to choose the same menu tier. Children 4 and under eat free and ages 5 to 10 eat for half price. Reservations are taken for parties of 10 or more.
