Royal Indian Cuisine

Royal Indian Cuisine serves North and South Indian dishes alongside Indian Chinese plates. The menu covers samosas, pakoras and tandoori chicken, along with dosas and uttappam from the south, shrimp and lamb curries, and a long list of vegetarian entrees. Breads baked in the tandoor, including garlic naan and keema naan, come with the main dishes. House spice blends are made in the kitchen.

Lunch is served every day, with a buffet on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and dinner is served each evening. Takeout is available during business hours, and group reservations are taken for parties under 60, with hall bookings for up to 90. The restaurant asks for at least 20 people for a party. It sits on Rochester Road in Troy, has a non-smoking section, and staff speak English and Hindi. Cash, cheque and bankcard are accepted.
