Happy Dog Ranch & Resort

Happy Dog Ranch & Resort is a family-owned dog daycare and boarding business that has cared for dogs since 2015. Daycare and boarding are the main services, with dogs getting outdoor play in multiple fenced yards in small groups of 8 to 10 per yard. Each dog has its own climate-controlled indoor area to eat and rest, and medication can be given for a small daily fee.

Newcomers start with a free meet and greet, which is required before the first booking and is set by appointment. Boarding reservations take a 25 percent deposit, and dogs from the same household can stay together. The team includes a certified dog trainer and a certified vet assistant, and clients receive pictures and videos during their stay. The property sits near Smithville Lake in Trimble, Missouri, tucked away from busy roads.
