The School House Venue

The School House Venue is an all-inclusive wedding and event venue housed in a restored 1923 two-story school house. The venue is rented for weddings and receptions, with an in-house day-of coordinator, and couples can choose a venue-only package or an all-inclusive package that adds catering, florals, soft seating and tabletop décor, and setup and breakdown. Vintage furniture from the owners' companion rental business, The Borrowed Branch, is included in the venue rental.

The venue seats up to 150 guests for ceremonies and has an indoor and outdoor bar, a fully covered porch with string lights and ceiling fans, private bridal and groom's suites, and parking for up to 100 vehicles on the property. Couples choose from five catering partners in the all-inclusive package. Inquiries go through an online form, with a reply promised within 48 business hours, and in-person tours can be scheduled. The venue is at 5495 Locust Hill Road in Travelers Rest.
