TherEx Station

TherEx Station is a private physical therapy practice that also runs small-group therapeutic exercise classes. The practice treats specific injuries referred by a physician as well as ongoing pain that gets in the way of everyday activity, and it also makes custom orthotics with a full assessment, casting and fitting. Patients on Medicare and Medicare Advantage PPO plans are accepted, and other insurance questions go to the front desk.

Classes are limited to six to eight people, and they are open to ages 13 and up. Single classes, class packs and a $99 monthly gym membership are available, and memberships include a therapeutic exercise program written and updated by a physical therapist. The business is in Torrance on Del Amo Boulevard, and the owner, Travis McKay, is a physical therapist who leads many of the small-group balance sessions.
