Ob-Co's Donuts

Ob-Co's Donuts is a donut stand on Fischer Boulevard in Toms River that has been serving the Jersey Shore area since 1953. Its sugar-raised donut, coated with a light cinnamon-sugar, is the signature item, and the menu also includes Boston Cream, chocolate frosted, cannoli-filled and apple fritter donuts, crumb cakes and cold brew coffee. Donuts are made fresh every day from an original recipe.

Customers order from a window under an awning rather than going inside, and the shop opens at 5 AM and stays open until the donuts sell out, with a string of lights out front that is on until then. Since selection can run short later in the day, calling the morning of or the night before is recommended. The shop also takes special orders for parties, weddings and birthdays, and offers platters, birthday donut boxes and wedding favors.
