TEC

TEC, short for Temperature Equipment Corporation, is a wholesale distributor of heating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. It carries Carrier's commercial and residential HVAC brands, including Carrier, Bryant, WeatherMaker, Day & Night and Heil, along with related parts and supplies. The company describes itself as the largest distributor of this equipment in the Midwestern states and says it has been in business for nearly 90 years.

TEC sells to contractors and dealers rather than to homeowners, and it runs a dealer portal and online ordering for trade accounts. Its corporate office is in Lansing, Illinois, and its listed address is on North Creek Drive in Tinley Park. Phone lines are split by department, with service, technical support, training and warranty each having their own number.
