Merit Logistics

Merit Logistics runs warehouse operations for distribution centers and manufacturing facilities. Its work includes freight unloading and loading, order selecting for general merchandise and temperature-controlled products, temporary staffing for peak periods, sanitation programs, and asset tracking with guard management. Clients named on the site include national grocery chains, a produce wholesaler and a large coffee chain.

Merit places its own associates and on-site managers at client facilities across many states, and it can send a traveling team when a site changes hands or runs short of staff. Daily end-of-shift reports go to its executive team. Merit works on contract with businesses rather than individual customers, so this listing is mainly useful to companies that manage a warehouse or dock. Its headquarters is in Tampa.
