Lice Away Today

Lice Away Today removes head lice and their eggs in a single session using an FDA-cleared heat device that dehydrates lice and nits. The company offers head checks for $20 and says it is the only single-treatment professional head lice removal company in the Tampa area. Its products are described as non-toxic and free of pesticides, and the company also sells products for families who prefer to treat at home.

Appointments are required and the business is open every day of the year, with a goal of scheduling within 12 hours. Its South Tampa clinic is at 4308 W El Prado Blvd. in Tampa, and a second clinic serves the Clearwater and Dunedin area. Treatment is flat-rate with no travel fees, and the company offers a free re-treatment within 30 days if lice return, subject to conditions. Insurance reimbursement receipts are provided, and military families receive a 10% discount.
