IPTB Clinical Research

IPTB Clinical Research is a neuropsychiatric research site and psychiatric practice in Tampa, led by Dr. Jamie Winderbaum Fernandez, who is board certified in adult psychiatry. The practice runs clinical trials for depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, Alzheimer's disease and anxiety, and it offers second opinions on diagnosis and treatment options. It also runs a transitional care clinic for people who need interim care while they find a long-term provider.

To join a trial, you fill out a contact form or call the office, and a clinician calls to ask about your medical and psychiatric history before a screening visit. Study-related healthcare is provided at no cost, and eligible participants may receive transportation and compensation. The practice has sites in South Tampa, with the main office off Dale Mabry Highway, and a North Tampa location. Participation in any study is voluntary.
