ION

ION is a Tampa home technology company that designs, installs and services smart home systems, including multi-room audio and video, custom home theaters, custom sound systems, security cameras and alarm systems. The company has been in business since 2006, starting as Innovated Technology Inc., and it lists state certifications as an alarm contractor and an electrical contractor.

Most of its work comes through referrals and long-term relationships with equipment distributors. Clients can book a service call through the website or by phone, and the showroom on West Pearl Avenue is open weekdays during business hours. Technicians are described as punctual and tidy on the job, and the company keeps the same team from concept and design through installation and support.
