Florida State Fairgrounds

Florida State Fairgrounds is a year-round event complex in Tampa that hosts the annual Florida State Fair, along with expos, agricultural shows and educational events. Its Bob Thomas Equestrian Center covers 23 acres with 471 barn stalls, rings for riders of all levels, and a 52,000 square foot covered arena for horse shows. Cracker Country, a living history museum with structures from the late 1800s, is also on the grounds.

Visitors can rent space for events, including the indoor pavilion for banquets and receptions and TECO Arena for shows, clinics and rodeos. Catering and event rentals are handled through the fairgrounds, and golf carts can be rented on site to get around the 23 acres. Onsite camping is available for horse owners, and the grounds sit close to Tampa's restaurants, hotels and beaches.
