Spay/Neuter Your Pet (SNYP)

Spay/Neuter Your Pet, also known as SNYP, is a nonprofit clinic that does spay and neuter surgeries for cats only. It offers low-cost cat spays and neuters, along with wellness services such as vaccines, microchips, flea and ear mite treatment, and parasite control packages. Pet and tame cats are served separately from wild or feral cats, which have their own booking link.

Appointments are required and should be made in advance through the online scheduling portal or by phone. Cats must be brought in a carrier, with hard plastic preferred. Purebred cats of certain breeds, such as Persians and Maine Coons, are not accepted because of breed-specific sensitivities. SNYP offers need-based financial assistance based on available funding, and vouchers are no longer offered. The clinic is at 111 N. Pacific Hwy. in Talent, with extra parking behind the building.
