SOUND & VISION

Sound & Vision makes small-lot wines from often unusual varietals, with a minimalist approach that aims to minimize inputs in the vineyard and winery. The winery farms or sources fruit from distinctive sites in the Rogue Valley and Applegate Valley, and its half-acre estate planting of Aglianico went in during 2020. Wines are made from Riesling, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Vermentino, Zinfandel, Nero d'Avola and other varietals.

The tasting room on South Pacific Highway in Talent is open Wednesday through Sunday afternoons. Sunday happy hour from 4 to 6 PM includes $1 off glass pours of open bottles and food specials. The room can also be booked for private events such as parties and business meetings, and the winery asks guests to reach out with questions. Its wines are also poured in shops across Oregon, Washington and California.
