Solid Ground Landscape

Solid Ground Landscape designs, installs and maintains residential and commercial landscapes, with a focus on boulder gardens, hardscapes, retaining walls, water features and Japanese-style gardens. The company's featured community project is an authentic Japanese garden in Ashland's Lithia Park. Services range from patios, decks and fences to outdoor lighting, plantings, sod and hydro-seeded lawns, and specimen tree installation.

The company works from a design-build approach and handles comprehensive maintenance as well. It is run by owner James Day, who has more than 35 years in landscape installation and maintenance. The office is on Colver Road in Talent, Oregon, and the company is licensed and bonded through the Oregon Landscape Contractors Board.
