Physician Coach

Physician Coach is a physician-led sports medicine clinic that diagnoses and treats musculoskeletal injuries, using in-clinic real-time diagnostic ultrasound to pinpoint the source of shoulder, knee, hip, Achilles and plantar fascia pain. Treatments can include ultrasound-guided injections, platelet rich plasma, dry needling and cupping, followed by strength training and coaching. The clinic also offers VO2 max and lactate testing and vitamin and nutrient shots.

No referral is needed, and many patients get a diagnosis and start treatment in the same visit. Most patients are active adults rather than only athletes. Vitamin shots are also offered at occasional pop-up events, and the clinic sells supplements through an online dispensary. The clinic is at 1120 MLK Jr. Way in Tacoma.
