Father Nature Landscapes

Father Nature Landscapes is a design-build landscaping firm that plans, builds and maintains outdoor spaces for homes, with decks, patios, outdoor kitchens, water features, pergolas, drainage, irrigation and lighting among its core work. The firm was started in 2006 by a single crew and designs yards for Pacific Northwest weather, choosing plants for clay soil and materials that drain well and hold up under grey skies.

The process begins with a site walk, followed by a conceptual design with a cost estimate before any work starts. Projects are billed on time and materials after a detailed estimate, and the same crew handles the build from start to finish and can continue with seasonal maintenance. The firm takes on a small number of projects each season and serves the South Sound, with its office on Portland Avenue East in Tacoma.
