Edison Square

Edison Square is an event venue in South Tacoma, housed in a historic building from 1919 that was originally the Realart Theater, one of Tacoma's first movie theaters. The space is restored and set up for weddings, receptions, corporate events, public markets, parties and community gatherings, with a stage, professional lighting, projection and sound systems, a bar area and a commercial kitchen.

The main floor and mezzanine hold up to 200 standing or 120 seated, and there is a rooftop deck. Rentals are priced by the hour with a four-hour minimum, and the base rental includes an event attendant, a PA system with projector and wireless microphones, and free on-site parking for 40 to 50 vehicles. The building is at 5415 South Tacoma Way and has wheelchair-accessible bathrooms and climate control.
