Notes and Rhythm with Josey and Cliff

Notes and Rhythm teaches flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, drums and piano to students of all ages, from beginner through advanced. Josey Lawson, who has nearly 25 years of piano teaching behind her, works with classical piano and other styles, and Cliff, the former owner of Pro Music, teaches a variety of instruments and also repairs them on a smaller scale. The studio says it has more than 65 years of combined experience and has taught over 500 students.

Lessons are 30 minutes or 15 minutes, billed monthly or weekly, and they must be taken at the studio in downtown Sylvania, since the teachers do not travel to homes. A free 15-minute introductory meet and greet is offered for families deciding whether it is a good fit. Missed lessons need two hours' notice, and repairs are handled by Cliff, who gives estimates after you bring in your instrument.
