Carpe Diem Therapy

Carpe Diem Therapy is a private pediatric speech and occupational therapy clinic founded in 2020 by a speech language pathologist. The clinic works with children who have speech, language, and communication delays, as well as fine motor, sensory, self-care, and feeding challenges. Sessions are play-based and built around each child's strengths and family goals, with the therapists coaching parents so progress carries over into home and school routines.

New patients fill out a questionnaire and the clinic follows up to schedule a first appointment. The clinic accepts a number of insurance plans, including Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Humana, UnitedHealthcare, and Ohio Medicaid plans, and lists other insurers as out of network. Private pay by check, cash, HSA, or card is also accepted. The office is on Monroe Street near downtown Sylvania, in a rear building shared with Enixus Center.
