Test prep and tutoring for NYC students since 199451 Crescent Street, Astoria, NY
Khan's Tutorial is a test prep and tutoring academy founded in 1994 by Dr. Mansur Khan. It offers Common Core tutoring, SHSAT preparation for the specialized high schools, Regents exam prep, and SAT classes, along with college admissions guidance. The academy's curricula were created by Dr. Mansur Khan and Dr. Ivan Khan, and the team now includes more than 300 tutors across ten locations.
Families can start with a free consultation and a free trial week before committing. The Astoria center is on Crescent Street, near the 30th Avenue station on the N and W lines. Some weekend and summer group sessions run on set schedules, and the academy offers scholarships for SHSAT and SAT students as well as discounted or pro bono tutoring for some families.
