Motor officer riding techniques for experienced and new ridersSugar Land, TX

Ride Like A Pro Houston teaches motorcycle riding classes built on the low-speed control techniques used by motor officers. Students practice exercises such as the slow race, figure eights, cone weaves, a U-turn drill and an iron cross intersection, with demonstrations from the instructors first. The program is a franchise of the Ride Like a Pro program started by a retired motor officer, and it is run by two Texas law enforcement veterans who supervise motor units.
Classes are held at the Sugar Land location on Gillingham from 8 AM to noon, and the instructors also travel to host groups in other towns. Riders need a valid license with an M endorsement, 2,500 miles of riding experience, a DOT-approved helmet, eye protection, sturdy boots and pants, and proof of insurance and registration. This is a skills course, not a basic licensing class.
