Fort Bend Top Spin Tennis Academy

Fort Bend Top Spin Tennis Academy teaches tennis to players from about age 5 through adults, with separate groups for beginners, junior players and teens. The Baby Shark program covers the basics for ages 5 to 7, while the junior and teen groups work on depth, spin, pace, footwork and consistent form. Adult lessons are offered for all levels, and private and customized lessons can be one-on-one or in small groups.

Head coach Ty Lynch owns the academy and has been coaching students in Sugar Land for about seven years. Classes meet on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings or evenings, and private lessons are scheduled by appointment at an hourly rate. The academy works out of the Woodstream Pool and Tennis Center in Sugar Land, and it runs summer and holiday tennis camps.
